How To Get It
As of the current patch, you can only get the Pet Mutation Shard Crocodile as a potential reward from Safari Joe, an NPC who visits every hour for ten minutes. Players can submit their pets to get corresponding rewards. The pet’s rarity, age, and mutations determine which tier of rewards you get.
There are a couple of reward tiers that allow you to get this item. However, it is still chance-based. Below is a table breaking down the chances of getting the item depending on the value of the pet you submit to Safari Joe.

- Go up to the pet, tap or press M1B to use the shard and give them the Crococile mutation instantly.
What Does It Do?
Applying the Pet Mutation Shard Crocodile on a pet will imbue them with the following pet trait:
- Croc Roll: The pet will occasionally bite another pet or a plant in your garden for 30 to 50 seconds. Affected pets get additional XP/s, and affected plants get additional growth.
