A new Summer Update (Update 59) was released recently, which included some new evolutions.

Anime Last Stand: How To Unlock Shadow (Atomic)
In Anime Last Stand, new evolutions are upgraded versions of existing units that players already own. Let’s learn how to get the new Shadow (Atomic) evolution.
Complete Quests (Abyssal Trials)
From the main menu, select the “Quests” icon on the left side of the screen. Navigate to the “Abyssal Trials.” The following are the objectives under this questline:
- Clear Summer Laguna (Portal) 50 times
- Evolve 4 different Summer 2025 Event units
- Summon 1500 times on any banner
- Clear Summer Laguna (Portal) 10 times with 3 or fewer equipped units (Must bring Shadow) (Solo)
- Slay 5000 Dark element enemies with Shadow equipped
- Obtain 15000 Red Coral
- Obtain 2500 Pirate Treasure
- Obtain 1000 Dark Essence
- Clear Summer Laguna (Portal) 10 times with 3 or more Dark Element units (Solo)
- Complete all (9) of the Shadow (Atomic) Trial Quests
(Note: The Update launched on June 16, 2025. You will have 45 days to complete this quest, after which the quest line will be removed from the game.)
Shadow (Atomic) Stats
Here are the base stats associated with Shadow (Atomic):
- Damage: 150,000 (High burst, ideal for endgame portals/raids)
- Range: 25,000 (Likely ~25-50; long-range, safe placement)
- SPA: 8 (Slow attack speed, ~18,750 DPS; burst-focused)
- Element: Dark (Synergizes with Summer 2025 quests)
- Sub Type: Magical (Versatile vs. mixed enemies)
Gameplay:
- Role: Long-range, high-DPS Celestial unit for Summer Laguna Portals, Dark Element quests (e.g., 5,000 kills, 10 clears with 3+ Dark units).
- Strengths: Massive damage, event synergy, safe range.
- Weaknesses: Slow SPA, high costs, niche element.
