To obtain the Snorlax Trinket (Drowsy Giant) in Dig, follow these steps:
The first step is to dig in Verdant Vale. The Drowsy Giant can only be obtained from the Verdant Vale area. It is a large region in Dig that also hosts the Fuzzball boss and includes a sub-area called Silver’s Farm. Focus your digging efforts in this location, as Snorlax does not appear in other areas such as Cinder Shores or Copper Mesa.
As mentioned earlier, Snorlax is a Prismatic-rarity item. This means it is not easy to obtain. To improve your chances of uncovering it, equip shovels and charms that boost your Luck stat. This will increase your odds of finding it. Here are some shovels you can try:
- Jam Shovel: Available at Silver’s Farm in Verdant Vale, this shovel has a special effect that can help with rare item drops.
- Prismatic Shovel: A high-tier shovel with an Iridescent modifier that multiplies item value by 3.5x. This may also improve rare item drop rates due to its high Luck stat.
- Charms: Use charms like the Charm Chisel (available in Fox Town) to reroll stats for better Luck, or equip charms from special events like the Meteor Shower (e.g., Blood Crown charm) for a 2x Luck boost.
Other Tips
You may also take advantage of certain weather events. While the Snorlax Trinket has no specific preference for weather or season, you can still benefit from conditions like the Meteor Shower. This event provides a 2x Luck boost and spawns special items like the Starfire Shovel or Celestial Totem.
Using a Metal Detector can help identify areas in Verdant Vale with an abundance of specific items. While this method is not guaranteed, it certainly increases your chances of finding high-rarity items.
