One of the many new things in the Grow a Garden Ghoul Garden event is the Spooky Mutation. The Halloween-themed event has added many new pets, items, plants, and more to the popular Roblox game. How To Get The Mutation
To obtain the Spooky Mutation on your plants, you need to get your hands on the Ghost Bear pet. Added with the Garden Ghoul event, the Ghost Bear is a limited pet which you can purchase from the Creepy Critters Shop for 70 Candy Corns or 267 Robux if it is not in stock. You cannot use the regular Sheckles for the purchase and must get Candy Corns by participating in the Ghoul Garden events, such as Grave Digging, Dead Tree Quests, and submitting plants at the Witch’s Cauldron.
Once you have the Ghost Bear equipped in your garden, your plants will randomly get the Spooky Mutation when the pet’s ability triggers. Here is an explanation of how the Ghost Bear works:
- Every 18 minutes or so, the Ghost Bear will go to a random nearby plant in your garden and scare it, giving it the Spooky Mutation.
Players can reduce the cooldown with Pet Mutations or by using other pets, such as the Tarantula Hawk, which reduces other pets’ cooldowns.
Spooky Mutation Value and Appearance Modifiers
Fruits that are affected by the Spooky Mutation get an 8x value modifier. They also sporadically emit small ghost particles. The effect is quite striking, especially if you have a lot of such fruits in your garden, giving it quite a ghastly look.
