The Spooky Rod in Fisch is one of the Rods that’s exclusive to the FischFright event 2025. You will have to deliver several of the Witch Beatrix’s missing items into her cauldron to finally unlock this specific Rod. In the following guide, well explore how you can find and deposit these items, and what the Spooky rod’s stats are.
Getting the Spooky Rod in Fisch
The Witch Beatrix and her cauldron make a comeback in this year’s Halloween festivities in Fisch. This time around, when you speak with her at Crook’s Hallow Island, she’ll reveal that an evil goblin has stolen several of her items. It’s up to you to retrieve those items from the goblin and submit them in her cauldron. Doing this task will earn you a bunch of Candy, the event specific currency, alongside several other exclusive rewards. To get the Spooky Rod, you will need to return 10 of the Witch’s items.
However, the goblin doesn’t appear in fixed locations. Instead, you’ll need to watch out for server-wide notifications every 5 mins that pinpoint where the goblin has appeared. Visit said island and then interact with the goblin in question. You will need to complete a random task for the goblin before they’ll hand over one of the stolen items to you. With one or more of these items at hand, return to Crook’s Hallow. Find the Cauldron at the center of the island and approach it. Now hold one of the missing items and press and hold the R key to deposit that item into the cauldron.

- 10% increase in chances of grabbing a fish with the Spooky Mutation, which raises its value by 6x.
- 10% increase in chances of grabbing a fish with the Frightful Mutation, which raises its value by 6x.
- 10% increase in chances of grabbing a fish with the Eerie Mutation, which raises its value by 6x.
- Every second, the Rod offers a 50% chance of increasing fishing minigame Progress Speed by 4%.
- 50% chance of fish to become Frozen, further improving Progress Speed by 5%.
