Grow a Garden’s cooking event update introduced several new seeds, including one for Taco Ferns. You can obtain the seeds via a new non-playable character (NPC) rewards shop but they are not easy to get due to their prismatic rarity. Taco Ferns also have a high selling price and can help you farm Sheckles. This guide explains how to get Taco Fern seeds in Grow a Garden’s new cooking update.
Grow a Garden: How To Get Taco Fern Seeds
Taco Fern seeds are available primarily from the Chris P NPC. He will ask you to make various dishes to feed him in exchange for random drops. There is a very small chance of getting the Taco Fern Seeds as one of the rewards. There is no guaranteed way to get the seeds, and it is all up to change.
Cooking is a new feature in Grow a Garden. You can cook for Chris by using the cauldron next to him. The items you need to cook change at intervals, so you have to talk to Chris first to see what he wants. Once you know what you have to cook, enter the ingredients in the cauldron and click on cook. Use your inventory menu to give Chris the food and wait for the rewards.

There are 14 possible rewards from Chris. Try to cook as many items as possible to feed him to get the seeds. The only other way to get the seed is from pets that spawn random seeds. However, the method is unreliable, and you have to rely on your luck.
