FischFright 2025: The Bat Whisperer Rod
How To Get
You can get the Bat Whisperer Rod by buying it for 10,000 Candies from the Flying Dutchman NPC. You cannot use your normal currency to get it. The NPC randomly spawns every 10 minutes at one of three locations on the Crook’s Hollow island during FischFright 2025:
- Shoreline
- Pumpkin Patch
- Graveyard
Each time he respawns, the Flying Dutchman will have three items in stock. If the rod is not one of them, wait ten minutes for the NPC to move. While it is not the most expensive item on the list, you will require a lot of Candies to get the Bat Whisperer. You get Candy by doing these activities:
- Trick or Treating at the houses on Crook’s Hollow Island
- Submitting Witch Ingredients at the Witch’s Cauldron
- Completing NPC quests in Crook’s Hollow
- Opening Frightful Crates

Bat Whisperer Rod Stats and Passive Ability

While the base stats are not that great, its passive is where you can get a lot of extra fish. Here is how the Bat Whisperer Rod’s passive works:
- Flat 10% progress speed.
- Bats are summoned when you start catching fish with the rod.
- When using it at night, get +1 bat.
- A bat gets summoned 15 seconds after a catch.
- You can have 3 bats present at a time.
- For each bat present, you get a random fish from the pool with the Batty Mutation every 30 seconds. The Batty mutation increases the value 3x.
