This mutation increases the value of your crop by a whopping 100x, making it one of the most sought-after mutations in the game. The Shocked Mutation is a rare and highly valuable crop mutation that boosts the sale value of affected crops with a 100x multiplier to their base price. Visually, Shocked crops appear neon, glow brightly, and emit light particles, making them easily distinguishable in your garden.

How To Get the Shocked Mutation

There are multiple ways to get the Shocked Mutation. Let’s find out:

During Thunderstorm Weather Event: One of the ways you can get the Shocked Mutation is during the Thunderstorm Weather event. During this weather event, the sky gets darkened, with random lightning strikes across the map. There is also a small chance of the lightning hitting your crops to apply the Shocked Mutation.

Using a Lightning Rod: You can increase the likelihood of lightning striking your crops by placing a Lightning Rod in your garden. This gear is available from the Gear Shop for 1,000,000 Sheckles.

Use Pets: The ongoing corrupted event features the Raiju Pet. The Raiju pet has a special ability called Lightning Beast. Here’s what it does:
Raiju devours a fruit with the Shocked Mutation, granting a 1.5x Sheckle value multiplier on that fruit’s sale price. After consuming the fruit, Raiju unleashes a chain lightning that affects approximately 4.22 nearby crops, applying either the Static Mutation (8x multiplier) or, during a Thunderstorm, a 20.3% chance to apply the Shocked Mutation (100x multiplier) instead.

Why It’s Valuable

If you get the Shocked Mutation, then you have struck gold. This mutation increases your crop’s value by 100x. It is second only to rare event-based mutations like Dawnbound (150x), Voidtouched (135x), or Celestial (120x).
