Made by the Roblox game developer Ponchokings, Pet Story is one of the games in the Airplanes series. As the title suggests, the story follows the player character, who is a pet that gets adopted at the start of each game. The game’s plot features branching timelines with numerous endings. While the game can be played solo, other players on the server can also join the same game.
With over 400 million visits on the Roblox platform, the game remains fairly popular among fans who have been playing it since it was released back in 2021. It recently got a new update, adding features such as crafting boxes and pets. Beginners can refer to this article as a guide to Pet Story.
Pet Story Guide
Pet Story features a fairly simple plot and basic game mechanics: WASD to move, E to interact with objects or attack, and Q to bark or meow. You play as a pet and get adopted by a grandmother before going on an adventure with your fellow pet buddies. Like most Roblox games, it has a different lobby area, and the players need to go to a specific area to start the story.
First-time players will get to choose a pet to play as from a free collection. Treats are the main in-game currency that players can use to unlock new pets and other cosmetics. Each pet and their hat add a multiplier to the rate of Treats the player gets. Naturally, more expensive pets have better multipliers.

To start Pet Story, you need to get on one of the two buses waiting in the lobby. Each bus can take up to 10 people at a time, with all of the players appearing as characters in the story. The game starts with you at a Pet Adoption Center, where players can roam around before a grandmother comes and adopts them.
The adventure begins after you finish killing all of the cockroaches at the grandmother’s house, with players getting their first option- To either chase after a pigeon outside the window, or wait inside.
All players in that session get a vote, with the party following the choice that wins a simple majority. Pet Story can have several endings depending on the choices the players make during a playthrough. Here is a list of the type of endings you can get.

Players are encouraged to complete the story as many times as they want, with the possibility of finding more endings. Beginners should take time to learn the attack patterns of enemies like cockroaches and the mice, as dying once in a run means they would have to restart from the lobby.
