Ink Game is a Roblox experience and takes inspiration from the popular Netflix show Squid Game. You and a set of players have to play increasingly dangerous games to survive. Each round plays out almost like the series. The game currently has two distinct endings depending on the number of survivors left. This is a short overview and a beginner’s guide to Ink Game.

Players familiar with the Squid Game show will know mostly how the game will go. However, there are certain key differences. Every player spawns into the lobby, which resembles the Dormitory in the show. To start a game, you have to stand in the middle of the large circle. Before we get into the games, let’s look at the basics.

Controls

  • Movement: Use WASD to move.

  • Camera: You can use the right mouse button to pivot the camera. Scroll to zoom in and out. By zooming in, you can play the game in first person as well.

  • Inventory: You don’t have a separate inventory. Every item you pick up goes into a numbered slot at the bottom of the screen. You can click on it with your cursor or press the corresponding button to use the ability.

After you start the game, you will have to walk through the game hall staircases to get to the next match. Here is a breakdown of all of the games in Ink Game.

  • Red Light, Green Light: This is the first game you will have to play, and it has all of the components from the show. You start from a line and have to reach the other side with the giant robot. You can only move when the light is green. They will shoot you if you move on red. At lower health, you lose your limbs.

  • Dalgona: Like the Netflix show, each player has to carefully trace a shape and cut a cookie before the time runs out. The game allocates shapes at random, ranging from simple shapes to intricate drawings.

  • Lights Out: The lights go out, like the show, and it’s a free-for-all. You can choose to attack other players or stay away from the carnage that inevitably ensues. Things go back to normal after the timer finishes.

  • Tug of War: The game will divide the players into two teams. Every player has to do quick time events and contribute to the team to win. The losing team will fall to their deaths.

  • Glass Bridge: Get to the other side using a glass bridge. Each section has two panels of glass, and one of them is deadly. If you step on the wrong panel, you will fall to your death.

  • Mingle: You spawn on a spinning platform in a circular room lined with doors. After the spinning stops, you will see a number. You have to enter one of the unlocked rooms and have that number of people inside. If you fail to enter a room, you die. If a room doesn’t have the exact number of people, you have to kill the excess.

  • Survived The Squid Game Ending: This will trigger if only two survivors are left after Mingle. Both of you are forced into an arena and have to fight to the death. Leaving the arena for more than a couple of seconds will result in your death. The objective is to fight the other person with your fists and kill them.

  • Rebellion Ending: If at any point in the game a majority of the players choose to end the game, but the vote still fails, the Rebellion ending is triggered. All the characters realize that the voting was rigged. You can go up to one of the two guards and take their gun. What ensues is a firefight as more and more enemies appear. After you enter the elevator, the fighting shifts to the game hall staircases. To win, kill all of the enemies before the timer runs out. The last enemy is the Frontman. The money is split between the survivors.
