Mafia Roads is an action-adventure Roblox game with RPG elements. Developed by Fons, it was first released in March 2025. Additionally, the core gameplay involves embarking on a vengeful road trip to dismantle the Mafia’s criminal empire by confronting their enforcers, gathering resources, and surviving hostile encounters.
The game recently had an update called the Underboss & Mercenary Update. Subsequently, it introduces new minibosses and enemies. Let’s learn more about it.
Mafia Roads New Update Guide
The Underboss & Mercenary Update (Update 5) recently launched. Let’s learn what’s new in the game:
New Minibosses
The game added four new minibosses with the addition of Billy, Maniac, Mastermind, and Widowmaker. Subsequently, these are underbosses, that the players must engage in their revengeful journey.
Additionally, underbosses add depth to the game’s narrative and difficulty, serving as key targets in the player’s quest to dismantle the mafia’s criminal empire.
Mercenaries
Three new mercenaries were introduced. Subsequently, mercenaries are typically hired guns in Mafia Roads, offering combat support or acting as formidable opponents.
New Enemies
Two new enemy types were added: Caller and Sniper. These enemies diversify combat encounters:
- Caller: Summons reinforcements or coordinates mafia attacks, making them priority targets to disrupt enemy strategies.
- Sniper: Long-range threats that require players to use cover, stealth (crouching with Ctrl/C), or mobility (sprinting with Shift) to avoid lethal shots.
New Structures
- Campfire: A new environmental feature that will act as a rest point.
- Mafia Outpost: A new enemy stronghold where players can encounter mafia forces, including underbosses or mercenaries.
Quest System
A brand new quest system has been added, which comes as side missions. Moreover, quests consist of defeating underbosses, killing mercenaries, or attacking mafia outposts that will reward players with gold, gear, or class upgrades.
New Firearm
The MP39 was added to the weapon list. It gives you even more combat options and is useful for engaging enemies (snipers, callers, etc.) from a distance. Additionally, yhe MP39 uses the general Roblox shooter controls (Left Mouse Button to shoot, Right Mouse Button to aim, and R to reload).
Premium Benefits
Players with Roblox Premium continue to enjoy a +25% Health boost, which is particularly useful when facing tougher enemies like underbosses or mercenaries.
