If you always dream about owning an Island one day, you can just build one instead in Roblox. The My Island experience on Roblox lets players build their own island from scratch. Your aim in this game is to expand your space and get rarer tiles as you progress. You can plant trees, rocks, rare crystals, and many other resources in this game.

Getting Started With My Island

To start off, you will spawn on your Island where you can chop some wood. Once you get some wood, you can sell it off to Jimmy Penny, who will give you some money for it. You can now purchase a new tile with the earned money. You can purchase either a rock tile or a wood tile with your money. Each tile you place has a chance to modify to a Gold or a Diamond tile. You can get upgrades for walk speed, luck multiplier, or an offline multiplier.

Players can also upgrade their tools, but they will cost you gold. Gold is only found through gold-mutated tiles. You will have to collect upwards of 100 gold to get some tool upgrades. With the latest update to the game, you can now craft some tile tools that can check what the tile will get you or move the tile completely.

Tips for Beginners

Here are some tips for beginners that you can implement during your gameplay.

Reroll for Better Tiles: You can reroll tiles once you have placed them down by holding ‘E’ with the same tile in hand. You have a better chance of getting a modified tile when you reroll.
Get Upgrades: Make sure to upgrade your walk speed and multipliers. Better upgrades will guarantee you some good modifications.
Purchase Farmlands: Farmlands do not get modifications, but they can fetch you a great price with crops. The crops can change once you have harvested them.
