The Crafting Update is now the Working Bees update in Grow a Garden. Explore all the new mechanics and features ahead!

Developers of Grow a Garden have announced a change to the upcoming update to the popular Roblox game. The event coming on June 14, 2025, has been renamed from the Crafting Update to Working Bees. As the title implies, it will be yet another extension of the ongoing Bizzy Bees event. Instead of ending the event, the new update will feature bees along with the previously announced crafting mechanics.
With the update just around the corner, let us look at all the details revealed by the developers, including a message from Jandel.
Grow a Garden Working Bees Update: The Bizzy Bees Event Will Continue in Addition to Crafting Feature Additions

Earlier this week, the developers revealed on the official Discord that the upcoming event will be called the Crafting Update. Befitting the name, it would have added a robust crafting feature to the game while removing the Bizzy Bees event that was released on May 31. However, in a message on the Updates channel on Discord, the developer Jandel announced that they are “switching things up.”
It seems the previous plan was to remove the Bizzy Bees event entirely and introduce the crafting update as a standalone feature. Jandel has now announced that the crafting feature will be tied to the Bizzy Bear NPC that was added to Grow a Garden on June 7, 2025. For those out of the loop, the Bizzy Bear currently gives the Honey Crafter recipes. It allows players to craft event-themed items by exchanging honey and crops with the Pollinated Mutation.
As per the new announcement, features from the Crafting Update will be integrated into Bizzy Bear. Jandel’s message has also been shared on X by the official Grow a Garden account.

The developers say they saw feedback from the players and decided not to remove the Bizzy Bees event:
“WE HAVE HEARD YOUR FEEDBACK! Quick update on the upcoming crafting feature: Originally, we planned to remove the Bee Event and replace it with crafting, but we’re switching things up! Instead of removing the Bee Event, we’re adding crafting as a new feature alongside it.”
The announcement also explains how the Bizzy Bear will be reworked to include features from the Crafting Update:
“The Bear will now have its own crafting menu where you can choose what to create. After the event ends, we’d like to hear from you and know if you would want this as a permanent feature! We’re always listening and your feedback matters to us.”
This means players will not only get the new crafting update, which is slated to unlock recipes allowing them to craft items, but the Bee Swarm event will continue for at least the next week.
