How Does the Pet Pen Work?
Post the latest update, every house in Adoption Island will now come with Pet Pens. You can see the pets playing around in this area of your house’s yard. Each of the Pet Pens includes fences, foliage, and kennels for your pets. However, besides the aesthetic draw, these Pet Pens have a much more important role to play. You can use it to age up to four of your pets at the same time while you’re away from the game.
However, one thing to note is that none of the pets will age beyond a single level while you’re AFK. If you want to age them further, you’ll have to log back into the game. Any of your pets that have eight needs per hour can gain up to 800 XP while you’re away. Meanwhile, the more common pets that have two hourly needs may gain up to 200 XP when you’re logged off. Another important thing to note is that you can age Neon Pets too in the Pet Pens. However, remember that you won’t gain any Friendship Levels by aging your pets in this manner.
How Does the Pet Releaser Work?
Pet Releaser is a new machine that the latest update introduces in the game. You can place any of your unwanted pets inside this machine, and it will release that pet into the wild for you. The machine takes seven minutes to release any pet, and after their release, you’ll earn points for the same.
You can use these points to purchase your next Crystal or Basic Egg. The amount of points you earn from using the Pet Releaser will depend on the rarity and age of the released pet. So, rarer and older pets will net you more points than younger and more commonly found pets. If you change your mind, you can always cancel the release process at any time during the seven-minute countdown.
