The Crystal Caverns is live in Prospecting with the devs adding a whole new area full of new ores, items, and more. In the update, players can stumble upon a secret area that holds the best gear in the game. You will need to open a secret cave door to access the area.
In this article, we will be discussing how to open the secret cave door in the Crystal Caverns area of Prospecting.
Secret Cave Door in Crystal Caverns Prospecting Update
The Prospecting Roblox experience is all about earning money by finding minerals using pans and shovels. With more money, you can afford to buy better gear, which increases the chances of getting better minerals. Till now, all of the gear was available through shops scattered across the map. However, with the Crystal Caverns Update, there is a secret area that currently holds the best Pan and Shovel in the game.
Accessing the Secret Cave Door
After entering the Crystal Caverns, you will find yourself in the starting area with merchants and other shops. Walk around and you will find a waterfall. Walk through the falling water to find the entrance to the secret cave. Initially, the secret cave door is locked. Beside it, you will find three differently shaped slots where you can submit minerals.
How To Unlock the Door
You will have to find three new minerals added in the latest update to enter the secret room. Here is a list of the things you need to open the secret cave door and where you can find them.

After you have three of the minerals, walk to the secret cave door and put each mineral in like the photo above. The door will open, and you can walk in to access the best gear in the game.
Prospecting: Secret Cave Door Items
None of the items you get after unlocking the secret cave door are free. However, the Pan and Shovel you can buy inside the secret room are the best in the game. Here is a breakdown of the stats:
