So, you can expect to complete a bunch of challenges similar to the ones you see in that show. Here’s a detailed guide on how you can play the game using the Detective mode.

You can join the game as a player, a guard, or a Detective. Based on what you pick, your goals and overall gameplay experience will vary. The Player mode is unlocked by default. However, you will need to spend either Robux or in-game money to pick the Detective mode. Remember that picking Detective mode this way doesn’t unlock it permanently, but simply allows you to play the mode once. If you want to play another time, you’ll have to shell out more money or Robux.

Playing Detective will cost you 600 Coins or 35 Robux for every round. Now, here’s a look at the goals you need to complete in Detective Mode.

Goals

When you play as a detective, you have the following major goals.

Find the island: You will start off in a boat in the middle of the sea. You will need to locate the correct island, based on the shape shown to you in a picture.
Gather evidence: Once you’re on the right island, you will have to gather evidence.
Deposit evidence: Simply gathering evidence isn’t enough, though. You also have to deposit the evidence you gather back on your boat or yacht.
Avoid detection at all costs: While you’re on the island, you’ll need to rely on several disguises to avoid detection by the guards posted there. You can spot a detection meter on your screen. If the meter gets full, you’ll be detected and you’ll lose the round. So, whenever you see the bar filling up, make sure to change disguises.

Hints

In Detective mode, you can also view hints to understand where you need to go to find the next evidence. So, use this feature if you find yourself roaming around aimlessly.

Collecting Evidence

As you collect each evidence item from various spots on the island, you’ll also notice that the detection chance goes up. So, the more evidence you have inside your backpack, the greater the chance that enemies will notice you. Make sure you’re constantly changing disguises, and keep a close watch on the detection meter.
