Uma Racing: Best Racing Umas Tier List

This tier list will take into account both how strong Uma’s abilities are overall as well as how easy it is to compete against experienced racers. Winning in Uma Racing depends mainly on your gameplay skills, such as stamina management and how well you utilize your Uma’s Running Style.
S-Tier
| Uma | Ability | Zone | Pros/Cons |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rice Shower | No stamina drain for 3.5 seconds. If you are behind someone, then you also get 0.5 seconds of stamina regeneration, more acceleration, and the opponent gets speed debuffs for 2 seconds. | Stamina regen for 2.5 seconds and also drains the stamina of all opponents within 35 studs. | Between the ability and the Zone, Rice Shower has some of the best stamina management skills. This Uma is fairly balanced and can shine early as well as later in the race. |
| Silence Suzuka | No stamina drain for 3 seconds | Gives you stamina regen for 0.9 seconds, and after that, your stamina doesn’t drain for 2 seconds. Your speed also increases for 2 seconds. | This Uma has a Front Runner style, giving you some very good acceleration from the beginning. Stamina management can be tough, but the ability and zone are arguably best in the game. |
A-Tier
| Uma | Ability | Zone | Pros/Cons |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oguri Cap | It can only trigger if someone is ahead of you. Once triggered, it gives you stamina regen for 0.7 seconds, and for 4.4 seconds, you get immunity from stamina decay. There is a variant of this skill that triggers if you are directly behind an opponent. This gives you 0.8 seconds of stamina regen, no stamina drain for 4 seconds, and the opponent’s stamina drains for 2.5 seconds, making it harder to sprint momentarily. | The zone can only trigger if someone is ahead of you within 43 studs. You gain 2.8 seconds of stamina regen, and the opponent gets a stamina drain debuff. | Both the zone and skill of the Oguri Cap are geared towards passing to other players. This makes Uma very competitive, but requires people to be ahead of you in the race. |
| Gold Ship | No Stamina drain for 2.5 seconds. 3% chance to trigger an ultra-rare cutscene. If it happens, then get 9 seconds of no stamina drain and 0.5 seconds of stamina regen. | Stamina regen for 1.6 seconds and triggers a QTE. If you are successful with the mini-game, you gain extra speed. | A very powerful Uma that is not as hard to get as the legendaries. The Zone, however, requires you to complete a mini-game to fully use its buffs. |
| Haru Urara | Stamina regen for 0.5 seconds. | Stamina regen for 2.5 seconds. | A very simple Uma that you can use from the start. Try getting slipstreams and pop your ability just after the first turn. Drop your zone after the second QTE, and you can get sub 1:35 time without much effort. |
B-Tier
| Uma | Ability | Zone | Pros/Cons |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tamamo Cross | Stamina regen for 0.7 seconds and immunity from stamina drain for 1.95. Additionally, all players within 30 studs get a stamina debuff for 0.3 seconds. | Stamina regen for 0.2 seconds | For a legendary, Tamamo Cross lacks a good zone to make the Uma top-tier. Her total stamina regen is less than 1 second long. |
| Daiwa Scarlet | Two powerful dashes during the race. | Stamina regen for 2.5 seconds. If there is a player within 35 studs, then gain no stamina drain for 0.6 seconds. | While the Zone is respectable, the two dash ability seems lackluster as it does not give other stamina boosts. |
C-Tier
| Uma | Ability | Zone | Pros/Cons |
|---|---|---|---|
| Air Groove | Stamina regen for 0.8 seconds, and other players within 35 studs get 0.3 seconds of stamina drain. | Stamina regen of 1.5 seconds. All other players within 35 studs get stamina drain for 0.3 seconds and sprint debuffs. | While Air Groove can debuff others around her, the stamina regen from both zone and skill does not stand out from the pack. |
