Vox Seas Guide: Everything You Should Know When Starting Out
As a One Piece-inspired game, the fighting is quite similar to the franchise. You can have four types of weapons to deal damage to enemies:
- Melee Fighting Style
- Swords
- Guns
- Vox Fruits
You can buy items or learn fighting styles using the in-game currency. Each weapon has one default skill and another Mastery skill, which unlocks after achieving a set weapon mastery level.
Progression Guide: How To Track Quests in Vox Seas

You can choose to be on the Pirates or the Marines team when you log into Vox Seas. You can change your team at any point in the game. Regardless of which faction you choose, the first thing on your docket would be to get a quest on your starter island. For the Pirates, this is the Foosha Village, and for the Marines, it is the Marine Island. The starting island will have these NPCs:
- Sword Dealer
- Vox Fruit Dealer
- Set Home Point
- Recruiter (Of the opposing faction)
- Ship Dealers
- Quest Giver NPC
In the beginning, you should go talk to the person who can give you a quest. On Foosha Island, it will be the Bandit Hunter with the reddish-yellow circle. To get a quest:
- Walk inside the circle.
- Select Interact (Mouse 1 Button on PC)
- Select the Quest about killing Bandits.
Keep grinding until you reach level 25 by killing the bandits. You can restart the quest without returning to the Bandit Hunter to help get more XP. Assign stat points to whichever skills you prefer. Prioritize the weapon skill, such as the Sword or Vox Fruit skill, depending on what you are using. After reaching level 25, you can track your second quest by clicking on the Compass button on the left of the screen.
First, go to the dock area and buy a ship. You should have enough money to get an Iron Sail for $500. Alternatively, get a Boat for free. Get on the ship and press the Compass, and make sure you are tracking the quest. Follow the needle of the compass and get to the next island (Werewolf’s Island).

At Werewolf’s Island, you have three separate quests about killing different enemies on the island. First grind the Shadowolfs, then the Hunters. In the end, you have to kill the King Werewolf. This will be quite a challenge, and you should seek assistance from high-level players. At level 100, follow the compass once more, and you will reach Orange Town. This island also has a similar quest giver.
Sword Dealer Guide
The Sword Dealer on your starting island will sell you two weapons:
- Cutlass
- Katana
Both are quite similar in damage and cost $500, so choose whichever you fancy. When you get to Orange Town (Level 100), you will get access to the Rare Sword Dealer, who will sell the dual Katana.
Vox Fruit Dealer Guide
The starter island will have a Vox Fruit dealer. It is another type of weapon you can choose. Towards the beginning, you should only invest in either Swords or Vox Fruits, depending on your playstyle. You can buy Vox Fruits with in-game money, but they are not always in stock. So, you may have to wait a while to get a particular one. Here is the full list of Vox Fruits:
- Kilo
- Divide
- Elastic
- Boom
- Dust
- Blaze
- Shine
- Frozen
- Eclipse
- Vulcanic
- Zen
- Mirror
- Orbit
- Poison
You can remove the power of a Vox Fruit by talking to the Fruit Remover NPC on the Prison Island.

Vox Seas: Fighting Styles

If swords are not your thing, Vox Seas lets players use their fists as well. Learn Fighting Styles from various trainers scattered around the map on different islands. Each fighting style gives you access to different moves. Here is a list of fighting styles and how to get them:
- Black Leg Fighting Style – Dark Step Teacher in Orange Town island.
- Electric Claw – Electric Claw Teacher on the Skypie Upper island.
- Water Kung-Fu – Water Kung-Fu Teacher on top of Lord Triton’s House.
How To Get a Ship in Vox Seas

Any One Piece game would be incomplete without ships, and Vox Seas has a couple of options for players. Ships are the main way you travel between islands to do quests. Each island will have a Normal Ship Dealer and a Premium Ship Dealer. You can buy ships from either. The Normal Ship Dealer sells:
- Iron Sail – $500 (Max Speed 75)
- Boat – Free (Max Speed 40)
The Premium Ship Dealer sells better ships that are costlier:
- Striker Boat – $1000 (Max Speed 130)
- Coffin Boat – $1500 (Max Speed 150)
