The Fall Market Event is live in Grow a Garden, and players can now obtain the Badger pet. It is one of the new Fall-themed pets you can get during the event. Meaning you only have about two weeks to add the pet to your collection. This guide explains what the Badger pet does to boost your garden, along with how to obtain it.

Badger’s Trait in Grow a Garden
The Badger is a rare Fall-themed pet in Grow a Garden that can impart the Cracked mutation to the plants in your garden. Usually, you would have to wait for a random Earthquake weather event to get the Cracked mutation, making the pet the only way to obtain it consistently. Here is a proper breakdown of the Badger’s pet trait:
- If equipped, the pet will occasionally dig around your garden and spread mud, causing nearby crops to have a chance to get the Cracked mutation.
Crops affected with the Cracked mutation get a x4 value modifier along with a different texture. You can further boost the pet’s ability to apply the mutation using pet mutations.
How To Obtain the Badger
You have a 32.5% chance of getting the Badger when you hatch a Fall Egg. This is the new egg that Grow a Garden players can obtain during the Fall Market Event. Follow these steps to get a Fall Egg:
- Log in during the Fall Market Event.
- Locate the Fall Festival Pet Shop in the event area.
- Unlock the Fall Egg by contributing to the Fall Bloom by submitting crops to the Harvest Spirit NPC.
- Buy the Fall Egg for 90 million Sheckles if it is in stock, or pay 149 Robux.
- The shop automatically restocks every hour. Alternatively, you can trigger a manual restock by filling up the Fall Bloom meter.
