Steal a Brainrot devs removed the internet meme character Tung Tung Tung Sahur from the popular Roblox experience on September 13, 2025. Part of the Italian Brainrot meme, the unit did not gain much popularity among gamers despite being one of the mascots of the game. So, players can no longer get the Tung Tung Tung Sahur due to copyright issues.
Tung Tung Tung Sahur is credited to the Indonesian TikToker Noxaasht, aka Noxa, who first posted the AI-generated meme back in February 2025. Since then, the character has gone viral around the world, inspiring plenty of games on Roblox and beyond. Steal a Brainrot is not the only game to be affected by the copyright issue. The Roblox experience Brainrot Evolution also removed Tung Tung Tung Sahur from their title.
Tung Tung Tung Sahur Creator Addresses Removal From Steal a Brainrot

After the news of Tung Tung Tung Sahur’s removal went viral, the creator of the character, Noxa, spoke out on TikTok. Noxa reposted a statement from their representative claiming that they had nothing to do with the unit’s removal from Steal a Brainrot and that it was Sammy who did it before Noxa’s representatives could discuss it with Sammy’s lawyers.
A relevant section of the statement also revealed that the game makes a lot of money using “Noxa’s work.” The full statement reads as follows:
“We are the agency of Noxa, and I’d like to clarify the situation about Tung Tung Sahur in Sammy’s game, Steal a Brainrot.
NOXA DID NOT REMOVE TUNG TUNG SAHUR.
Neither Noxa nor us asked for Tung Tung Sahur to be removed. Sammy asked us to contact his lawyer. While we were waiting for the lawyer to get back to us, Sammy decided to remove the character from the game. It was Sammy’s decision. Steal a Brainrot is making millions of revenue using Noxa’s work. We were always open for discussion, and Noxa would be happy for the players to keep playing with Tung Sahur. This situation isn’t fair regarding our partners (small and big studios) who have acquired our license in all fairness.”
This has sparked online debate about authorship and AI-generated art, with popular YouTuber KreekCraft making a video about it titled ‘it got deleted.’ As far as legal notices go, in the United States, you cannot copyright “fully AI-generated images.” However, images that have partial AI elements can be licensed. The creator of Tung Tung Tung Sahur, however, is not based in the US, and Indonesian law on the matter is not clear.
