The official mobile version of the hit survival multiplayer title Rush gets its reveal trailer. In partnership with Facepunch and Level Infinite, the game will play similarly to the PC version but will feature optimizations for mobile gaming. However, confirmation hasn’t come to light about the fact whether if it’s a premium title or will follow a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

The trailer did not show any gameplay footage. Nevertheless, the animation trailer revealed some potential features that could arrive in the game. With that said, here is what you need to know about the Rust Mobile Official Reveal trailer.

Rust Mobile Official Reveal Trailer Announced

After a long wait, a reveal trailer for Rust Mobile is officially out. While it was an animation trailer, it did hint at a few gameplay mechanics that the game might have. Here is a quick rundown on what was shown on the trailer:

Free-For-All PvP

It looks like, in the world of Rust Mobile, anything goes. This includes a PvP system where anyone can potentially be your enemy or ally. It’s not confirmed if there will be protections in place for new players. However, the trailer revealed new players being taken down by other players with better gear. This can be a problem, especially if enemies decide to spawn camp any new players.

Base Building

One of the core features of Rust is the base building. Fortunately, the mobile port also includes this feature. You can build your own base of operations in the game. Alternatively, you can work with other players to establish a base and defend it from raids.

Raid Notifications

Based on the Rust mobile trailer, you can get notifications whenever your base is being raided by other players. This allows you to hop back in and defend it. However, there is no explanation as to what will happen if no one shows up to defend the base from the raid, and what other players can do to raid bases. If it follows the same mechanics as the PC version, players might be able to claim the base as their own and steal all the resources.

Survival Mechanics and Vehicles

Of course, as a survival game, there needs to be survival mechanics. The trailer showed some survival mechanics like setting up an indoor garden to grow crops, potential weapon and armor crafting, and horse mounts. Additionally, the trailer also revealed that you can ride a makeshift aircraft.

Pre-registration Details

Pre-registration for Rust Mobile is currently ongoing. However, the release date of the game is yet to be revealed. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
