Discover how many checkpoints there are in RV There Yet, including the hazards and puzzles to expect while journeying to them.

RV There Yet lays out a cooperative adventure on a massive map with various stages to cross in an RV. Progress is saved at checkpoints along the way, where players can respawn and retry the current section of the map if they die. The ultimate goal of the game is to cross the treacherous Mabutts Valley and reach the exit of Route 65.
With up to four players working together, crossing obstacles and avoiding various hazards can be difficult. Checkpoints ensure that you won’t have to restart the game from scratch, even if all players are downed and unable to revive each other.
How Many Checkpoints Are There in RV There Yet?

There are a total of 16 checkpoints in RV There Yet, not counting the starting location. As you begin your journey across Mabutts Valley, you start in its eastern end and travel north to skirt geographical obstacles such as lakes and chasms.
Most of the challenges you meet along the way are much easier to overcome in co-op, with a few friends to back you up. You cannot realistically skip any checkpoints as the map is designed to ensure that you encounter each one along the way.

All Checkpoints in RV There Yet

We have divided all the checkpoints into levels based on the map’s shifting biomes and provided a rundown of what to expect in each one.
Level 1 (Checkpoints 1–4)
Drive along the road from the starting camp to cross the first two checkpoints easily. After reaching the third checkpoint, you need to navigate a few hairpin turns before crossing a body of water.
- Drive your RV over the bridge and onto the ferry.
- Detach the front winch and swim across to latch it onto the dock’s far side.
- Interact with the ferry’s wheel and use your remote control to activate the winch and pull the RV over to the other side.
Level 2 (Checkpoints 4–6)
The major challenge of this level is crossing the partially destroyed bridge between checkpoint 5 and checkpoint 6. Park the RV near the edge and use the winch in conjunction with two planks to build a bridge and reach the other side.
Level 3 (Checkpoints 7–8)
This stretch of the map offers a challenging drive. By this time, you may start running low on supplies and will need to loot any points of interest along the way. Beware of snakes and keep Bear Spray on hand.
Level 4 (Checkpoints 9–11)
Near checkpoint 9, you will be able to stock up at a gas station. The main danger in this region is posed by eagles, which make nests along the walls of the canyon. They can attack the RV and damage it. Repair the vehicle and continue driving onward until you cross the narrow canyon.

Level 5 (Checkpoints 12–15)
After crossing over the southern section of the valley, you can enjoy a brief, leisurely drive. The main hazards to remain alert for are bears and snakes, which attack you relentlessly if you enter their territory.
Level 6 (Checkpoint 16)
The final section of RV There Yet begins after crossing checkpoint 15. The entire route follows the river east, driving along its banks while crossing it intermittently. You will be relying heavily on the winch to cross the river, latching it onto a rock or tree on the far bank. After crossing the river for the fourth time, you will reach the final stretch of road to checkpoint 16 and the near-mythical Route 65 exit to complete RV There Yet.
