What Would It Mean for the Users if the S Pen Loses Bluetooth Functionality?
Users could easily use the S Pen in the S24 Ultra for various purposes. These included using gestures to capture photos and videos, navigate their way around the smartphone, and launch applications. As per Ishan, if Samsung is planning to remove the Bluetooth support on the S Pen, it would mean a loss of features for the users. Specifically, the S Pen would no longer provide gesture capabilities and would lack the ability to control phone functions remotely.
This move will disappoint Samsung smartphone users who regularly use the S Pen. It could also indicate that Samsung is ditching this feature because they consider it less important. It could also mean they may be cooking something better to fulfil the users’ needs, which would be disappointing. For now, the name of the game for consumers is waiting and observing.
