Our guide will help you acquire and use the skateboard in Schedule 1. Traversing the town becomes so much easier with this tool.

Schedule 1 puts you in the shoes of a drug supplier and dealer who aims to make it big in the business. And you’ll need to do everything from making the product to delivering it to your customers. Doing all of this while on foot can be inconvenient, but you won’t be able to purchase a vehicle early on in the game.
That’s where the skateboard comes in. It’s a tool that you can get in the game quite early on. However, the game does a poor job of explaining how to unlock the item and use it. So, in this guide, we explore how you can get your hands on the skateboard in Schedule 1 and how to best use it.
How Can You Get the Skateboard in Schedule 1?

You don’t automatically get the item for use. Instead, you’ll need to buy the skateboard from a store known as Shred Shack. You can find the store just opposite the Hardware shop, which means it’s not difficult to spot. Interact with the shopkeeper and buy the entry-level wooden cheap skateboard for $75.
This is the cheapest version and is fine for early game use. You can upgrade to the better options when you have more money later on in the game because the wooden skateboard won’t be too fast. However, it’s much quicker than running around on foot.
Also, before buying the skateboard, make some space in your inventory. After purchasing, you should be able to see the skateboard in your hotbar.

How To Use the Skateboard in Schedule 1?

To use the skateboard, you’ll first need to select it. Press the corresponding number key depending on where the skateboard is on your hotbar. Then, press left click to mount the board and use the directional keys to steer.
For a boost of speed, you can try mounting the skateboard while running. You can also go down a slope to pick up the pace. Keep in mind that you can also jump over small hurdles along the way, such as the curb. At any rate, getting around town will become much faster and smoother than being on foot.
