The February roadmap of the game is jam-packed with a brand-new season that promises a ton of content and activities to look forward to.
The highly anticipated Season 15 launches on February 20, 2025. Despite February 20 being the big day, the week leading up to it has a lot to offer, too, incentivizing players to jump in early. Dark Fortress Raids
Kicking off the content influx is the Dark Fortress Raids limited-time event. This event will run from Friday, February 14, to Thursday, February 20. It will put you head-to-head against ghosts, phantoms, and other spectral threats as you navigate your way around Sea Forts. To incentivize maximum participation, this limited-time event comes with exclusive rewards, including two vaults with valuable loot.
Stirring Seas Release
Also releasing on February 14 is a revamped version of the critically acclaimed Sea of Thieves soundtrack. This version takes everything you love about the original and recreates it using an orchestral style. The much-anticipated soundtrack will be available on all streaming services on February 14 and will release in-game alongside Season 15.
Season 15 Launch
As stated earlier, Season 15 of Sea of Thieves launches on Thursday, February 20. As is the case with all new seasons, Season 15 brings a ton of new features and loot to keep things fresh. These new features include new Voyages, hunting spears, new wildlife, and much more. The devs have also amplified the terrors of the sea, adding two new Megalodon variants: the Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread. With such terrors looming in the dark underwater, explore the vast seas at your own risk.
Twitch Drops and GameBlast25 Stream
To build anticipation for the new season, the devs are adding Twitch drops for streams that showcase the new season. Drop in and watch your favorite Sea of Thieves streamer between February 20 and February 24 to earn rewards. These rewards include the Eastern Winds Ruby Shirt and Gloves, the Seaweed Sailor Speaking Trumpet, and a Gilded Voyage of The Ancient Isles.
Sea of Thieves will also be hosting a community charity stream from February 21 to February 23. This stream is in association with GameBlast. Fans are encouraged to hop into the stream and donate to the cause—because you may be a pirate, but an honorable one.
