They later explained that it was done to “prioritize game integrity following a high impact issue being discovered,” after which the dev team identified a fix.

The Sea of Thieves server downtime for this month’s update is scheduled to begin around 10 am UTC on Monday, November 18. The attached countdown timer will help you keep a tab on when the servers will go down.
