How To Find a Skeleton Fort
Every event is denoted by a specific type of cloud signal in Sea of Thieves. Skeleton Fort is spotted with the help of a skull-shaped cloud signal. This skull has green glowing eyes and is formed just above the event. Players can use this cloud signal to reach the Skeleton Fort event.
Skeleton Fort Guide
The operation includes three stages: invade, attack, and loot. The Skeleton Fort has skeletons that use cannonballs to attack ships. Players have to dodge those cannons and counterattack the skeletons. Larger ships like galleons are usually targeted first rather than sloops. Keep repairing the ship because it also serves as a mobile base for the crew. After successfully invading the fort, it is time to attack it from the inside.
Players must defeat skeleton waves, each having about 10 to 15 skeletons. There are different kinds of skeletons, such as regular, plant, shadow, and gold. Each one of them has a distinct appearance and abilities. Players have to deal with all waves before facing the main boss of Skeleton Fort.
The Fortress Captain is the main boss of this event. The captain comes with a bunch of skeletons, and killing them will end the event. However, this boss is much stronger, so avoid dying at all costs. After killing the captain, players can loot the fort, but there might be other players who would want to loot the rewards. Use the fortress cannons to repel those greedy players and collect the reward for yourself.
