Shroud Officially Announces His Esports Team for Marvel Rivals

Popular streamer and former professional player Shroud has announced his Marvel Rivals esports team, SHROUD-X.

Popular streamer and former esports professional Shroud has announced the formation of his Marvel Rivals esports team, SHROUD-X. The streamer had set a goal during his Fragathon charity livestream that if he received $1 million in donations, he would form an esports team dedicated to Marvel Rivals. Michael had asked Marvel Rival teams and organizations to connect with him regarding the formation during the Fragathon. The team consists of seven players and three operation managers.

Shroud had previously expressed interest in investing in a Marvel Rivals team. The streamer has praised the game on several occasions for its gameplay experience. While several organizations have announced their lineups for the popular title, Shroud has revealed his team. Fans speculated that the streamer would also be a part of the team, although that is not the case yet. Marvel Rivals was launched in December 2024 and is one of the fastest-growing games in terms of player count. The game features 6v6 gameplay, much like its rival, Overwatch. The community around the game has also been very active across social media with memes and posts.

After announcing the team, Shroud went over how the team was formed. Shroud stated that he picked up the former Intergalactic roster to form SHROUD-X. The streamer also stated that the team was formed with the help of “friends and family.” Operations director Danan was a part of Cloud9 alongside Shroud and helped him with the process. During his stream, Shroud stated:

“It’s like a friends-and-family little team, you know? We’ve got a little squadron here, we’ve got a little squadron.”

Shroud’s Marvel Rivals Team: Full Roster Revealed

Although fans expressed their interest in Shroud playing professionally once again, the team consists of seven Marvel Rivals professionals, while the operations team consists of three individuals. Shroud will seemingly take on the CEO role for the organization. The operations manager for the team, Branchies, will seemingly be another reserve player for the team. The roster for SHROUD-X is as follows:

  • Window
  • Nuk
  • Doomed
  • Fidel
  • Vision

The managerial staff consists of:

  • Gator
  • Branchies
  • Danan

Shroud has also expressed his gratitude to the community for raising a million dollars for the team to form.
