Silent Hill F requires powerful hardware to maintain a high frame rate on PC. The game is built using Unreal Engine 5 and utilizes Lumen for realistic reflection and lighting effects. Silent Hill F is also highly CPU-intensive and requires a powerful CPU to keep up with the draw call demands. The suggested build below improves over Neobard’s recommended requirements and aims for high FPS at 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

Note: We have omitted suggestions for a monitor, peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse, and a computer case, as these items mainly depend on user preference. You will be requiring the mentioned peripherals to utilize this PC build. As for Windows, the trial version will get your setup running.

The CPU we chose is the Ryzen 5 9600X, a competent six-core, 12-threaded Zen 5 CPU. It is sufficient for modern games and is backed up by a dual-channel DDR5 RAM kit from TeamGroup, running at 6000 MHz with full AMD EXPO support.

The motherboard is the MSI PRO B850M-P, and its VRM is more than sufficient for the 9600X. The cooler is the Peerless Assassin, ample to keep the 9600X cool. Storage-wise, we recommend the Samsung 990 PRO 1TB, a previous-generation flagship and one of the fastest PCIe Gen 4.0 drives.

The RX 9060 XT GPU we have suggested here is more than sufficient for playing Silent Hill F. Playing at very high settings at 1080p and 1440p with upscaling should pose no problem at all. Powering everything up is the Thermaltake Toughpower GX2, a 600W 80+ gold-rated power supply, ensuring your components are powered adequately and without the risk of damage.
