Everything you need to know about the Deluxe Edition and pre-order outfits in Silent Hill F, and how to access them in the game.

Silent Hill F, much like its predecessors, is very limited in terms of player customization. The only customization option you have in the game is different outfits for Hinako. Although a good majority of these outfits are obtained as post-game rewards or in New Game+, some can be obtained as early as the very start of the story. If you pre-ordered the game or its Deluxe Edition, you get access to exclusive outfits for Hinako. And much like in Silent Hill 2 Remake, the pre-order bonus outfits can be used from the very start of the game.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Deluxe Edition and pre-order outfits in Silent Hill F, and how to access them.

Where To Find the Deluxe Edition and Pre-Order Outfits in Silent Hill F?

Unlike in Silent Hill 2 Remake, where you had to go into the setting to change James’ attire, you can access all cosmetic options for Hinako right from within the game itself. In fact, when you start a new playthrough in Silent Hill F, the game lets you select the outfits you want to use from the very beginning. And regardless of your choice, you can change Hinako’s outfit anytime during gameplay. That said, there are some restrictions related to the cosmetics in Silent Hill F, and when you can use them.
Essentially, you need to have unlocked the Shrines to access all the available outfit options for Hinako. The Shrines in Silent Hill F are essentially checkpoints, akin to the Bonfire in Dark Souls. Furthermore, as you explore Ebisugaoka, you will find plenty of Shirnes scattered across the town. Interacting with the Shrines lets you manually save your progress and also access Omamori crafting.
Furthermore, Shrines also allow you to upgrade Hinako’s base attributes. After interacting with a Shrine, you can select Change Costume to see all available cosmetics for Hinako. If you have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game, you will have access to the White Sailor School Uniform and Pink Rabbit Costume.
