How To Get Hairpin in Silent Hill F
You will find the Hairpin inside Ebisugaoka Middle School. The search begins in one of the classrooms where a discarded note suggests that something as ordinary as a hairpin can unlock a drawer. That hint sets the stage. To continue, you need to climb through the classroom window into the courtyard.
As you explore the outdoor space, pay attention to the southeast side of the area. Enemies wander here, so move carefully and avoid unnecessary fights. Your destination is a small shed-like structure that resembles a rabbit hutch. Inside is a woven basket on the ground. Check it and you will discover the Hairpin waiting for you.
If you are playing on Story difficulty, this method applies. However, the item behaves differently in harder modes. On Hard, the drawer key is placed inside a chrysanthemum bed, and in Lost in the Fog mode, you will need to search hydrangea pots in the upper courtyard. In those cases, the Hairpin itself is not involved.

After you secure the Hairpin, return to the faculty office located near the shoe lockers. There you will find a locked desk drawer. Use the Hairpin to open it, and inside is the key to access the second floor of the Main Building. That step ensures your progress through the chapter.
