You can only obtain the Propane Tube in Shimizu Residence III. The area becomes accessible once you progress with the calendar placements. From the entrance of the Shimizu Residence III, follow the hallways until you reach the western side of the map. Look for the western kitchen. This room is placed directly opposite the bird-marked fletching door. Inside this kitchen, check the wooden table. The Propane Tube will be there.
Note that the same kitchen sometimes contains additional helpful items like the Furoshiki, which increases your inventory space.
How To Use the Propane Tube in Silent Hill F
Once you have the Propane Tube, its purpose becomes clear during the wax-melting sequence. However, you also need to gather another item first, the Block of Wax from Hinako’s childhood room.
Here’s the process step by step:
- Return to Shimizu Residence I.
- Enter the southwest kitchen in this section of the house.
- Connect the Propane Tube to the stove system.
- Place the Block of Wax on the stove or pan.
- Once the wax melts, retrieve the Fletching Key hidden inside.
This action is more than just a side step. The Fletching Key obtained here allows you to open the path toward the Black Bird and Sword Plate. That crest, along with two others, is necessary to complete the My Room puzzle.
