The White Sparrow Crest is one of the three key crests needed for the mural puzzle in Silent Hill F. You encounter it during Chapter 11 in the Dark Shrine Rooms. This crest looks like a carved badge. Without it, you cannot complete the mural sequence, which locks away critical narrative paths. In this article, we will explore how to get the White Sparrow Crest in Silent Hill F.

How To Get the White Sparrow Crest in Silent Hill F
Defeat your parents in the Shimizu Residence, and you will reach the Dark Shrine Rooms. The Southern Chambers hold the White Sparrow Crest, but you need to retrieve it.
From the mural room with banners on both sides, head through the left door to a chamber of fox statues. No map helps you here, so visual memory is your only guide. You have to move between interconnected rooms, eventually looping back toward the mural area. From there, continue deeper into the chambers until you reach the crest’s chamber.
Inside, a Drum Monster blocks your path. This enemy is large and slow, with a stunning roar that leaves you vulnerable if you rush. You must attack only after it kneels and finishes its cry. Soon after, Blade Legs Monsters enter the scene. They move quickly and attack with jerky leaps, often telegraphing their strikes with sharp audio cues. Keep distance where possible, and use ranged moves when they lunge.
The most overlooked step comes after the fights. You need to activate Focus Sense to reveal bloody sigils on the chamber walls. Defeat every last one, or the chest at the altar will stay locked. Make sure all threats are cleared to finally collect the White Sparrow Crest. Exit through the left door to return safely to the mural room.

How To Use White Sparrow Crest in Silent Hill F
Once you hold the White Sparrow Crest, your focus shifts to the mural puzzle. This puzzle has different slots, and each crest fits in a specific one.
The tricky part is that the slot changes depending on which ending you are working toward. For the Coming Home to Roost ending, the crest fits in the top-middle slot, where a fox carries a lantern. In the Fox’s Wedding ending, you place it in the bottom-middle slot, showing a fox at rest. If you are chasing The Fox Wets Its Tail, you need to use the bottom-right slot, the one with a running fox.
And for Ebisugaoka in Silence, it belongs just below the red-cage scene with the lantern. The crest is also part of a trophy challenge called Sly Like the Fox. To achieve it, you must collect all three crests in the Dark Shrine Rooms without taking wrong turns. That is harder than it sounds, since the fox statue paths can easily confuse you.
