Everything you need to know about the upcoming new entry in the Silent Hill series, Silent Hill F, including the pre-order details, and more.

Konami has finally revealed the official release date for Silent Hill F, along with a brand-new gameplay trailer. The release date announcement comes courtesy of the recent PlayStation State of Play, which also showcased titles like Pragmata and Nioh 3. Developed by Neobards Entertainment, Silent Hill F is a new chapter in the iconic survival horror franchise. Silent Hill F is also a very unique game, as it doesn’t seem to have any direct ties to the past titles in the Silent Hill franchise.
While the game shares similar themes and aesthetics with past Silent Hill games, it is completely divorced from its predecessors in the narrative department. Unlike the past games, Silent Hill F is set in 1960s Japan.
Naturally, much of the story-related content is shrouded in mystery. However, with the game finally getting a confirmed release date, pre-orders for Silent Hill F are now live across all platforms. Here’s everything you need to know about Silent Hill F’s pre-orders, platforms, editions, and more.
Silent Hill F Release Date and Platforms

Silent Hill F is scheduled to be released on September 25, 2025. The game is coming to all current-gen systems, i.e., PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Much like last year’s Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill F is built using Unreal Engine 5. However, the game appears to be using a more updated version of UE5, which allows for a more stunning graphical presentation.
So far, Konami has mostly showcased the game running on a base PS5. Even on the PS5, the game seems to be using ray tracing for its global illumination and reflections (partially). Konami has not revealed any performance metrics for the consoles. Details on performance will likely be shared closer to the game’s release date.
Similar to Silent Hill 2 Remake, there is also an early access incentive for pre-ordering Silent Hill F. If you pre-purchase the Deluxe Edition, you can play the upcoming Silent Hill title roughly 48 hours prior to its official release date, starting September 23, 2025.
Silent Hill F Editions and Prices

Similar to any other Triple-A or Double-A release nowadays, Silent Hill F is offered in two different editions: Standard and Deluxe. Much like any other modern release, the Standard Edition is priced at $70 and comes with the base game as well as the pre-order bonuses. The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, is priced at $80 and includes a few exclusive costumes on top of the Standard Edition offerings. Furthermore, pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition grants you 48-hour early access to the game.
Note that the early access incentive is only available with the Deluxe Edition. If you pre-purchase the Standard Edition, you will not be entitled to early access.
However, the Standard Edition pre-order does include a bonus costume and item pack. The White Sailor school uniform and item pack are part of the pre-order bonuses. That being said, here is a breakdown of the different editions:
Standard Edition ($69.99)
- Base game
- Pre-order bonuses
Deluxe Edition ($79.99)
- Base game
- Pre-order bonuses
- Digital artbook
- Digital soundtrack
- Pink Rabbit costume
- 48-hour early access
The pre-order bonus includes the White Sailor school uniform, Omamori: Peony (equippable trinket), and an item pack. The item pack includes the following:
