New leaks suggest that the Generation 7 Legendary Pokemon, Solgaleo and Lunala might be joining the Pokemon TCG Pocket roster soon.
Leaks are surfacing online, which seem to suggest the addition of the Sun and Moon Pokemon to Pokemon TCG Pocket. This will be a welcome change, as the only other box art Legendaries we have are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.
The reported release date is April 30, 2025. However, since this date is not yet officially confirmed, it is subject to change at any time. Here is everything we know about Solgaleo and Lunala EX joining Pokemon TCG Pocket.

The image was first posted on the official Pokemon TCG Pocket (Japan) X (formerly Twitter) account. Following this, the post was swiftly deleted, which seems to suggest that the post was either made accidentally or ahead of schedule.
Regardless, once information gets out on the internet, it’s hard to take it back. Many users have already seen the post and commented on it. A reputed source re-uploaded the post, as seen above.
What Else Can We Expect in the Next Pokemon TCG Pocket Expansion?
With the induction of Solgaleo and Lunala, it’s safe to say that we will likely also see some other Generation 7 Pokemon added to the game. Some of the more popular cards could include the three starter Pokemon (Incineroar, Popplio, and Decidueye), as well as many other fan favorites like Bewear and Mimikyu.
Adding the Dusk form of Lycanroc to the game would also be something fans would enjoy. Lastly, Cosmog and Cosmoem are also safe picks to expect, since Lunala and Solgaleo will need to evolve from Cosmoem to be usable in battle.
While we are waiting for the upcoming expansion, it’s probably a smart idea to hoard your Pack Hourglasses so you can go on an opening spree once the pack is added. The new expansion will reportedly drop on April 30, 2025.
