Explore your surroundings in Split Fiction’s Big City Life with this guide to ensure you don’t miss anything the mission has to offer.
Mio and Zoe find themselves thrust into a high-stakes assassination mission in Chapter 2 of Split Fiction. They take on the dangerous SRI crime syndicate and fight their way through a cyberpunk city to reach their headquarters. Picking up after Getaway Car in Neon Revenge, Big City Life is a relatively laid-back mission with one puzzle, a side story, and two achievement opportunities.
How To Complete Big City Life in Split Fiction
Section 1 – Pool Area
After escaping the getaway car stuck at the bottom of a pool, Mio and Zoe emerge onto a rooftop waterpark. Following the heated car chase sequence, it can serve as a great cooling-off area. You can have some fun around it by taking the water slide together at the top of the stairs. If you jump onto the center of a donut floaty, your character will lounge on it.
Section 2 – Side Story and Achievements
Once you’re ready to proceed, head to the top of the stairs. Run past the bar and to the platform on the right with glass railings. Grapple onto the pole ahead to launch yourself to the next building, and grapple on the platform. Sit on the bench ahead to hear some extra dialogue and progress toward the ‘All Split Fiction Bench Locations – Deltia’s Gaming’ achievement.
Grapple onto a passing flying car to hitch a ride to the next area. Drop off on the rooftop ahead of the Gemini Imperium Hotel. Have Mio sit in one of the portable blue toilets on the right side of the roof. Once she is inside, Zoe can use her ability to fling her toward the hotel to progress the main story or behind her to reach the Mountain Hike side mission. When Mio is toward the side mission portal, she can kick a ladder down. Zoe joins her by jumping and dashing over the gap and climbing the ladder.
As you prepare to fling Mio toward the hotel, wait for the traffic passing in front to clear out before launching her. Once she has reached the hotel’s platform, Mio should interact with the yellow dumpster at its edge when the traffic is clear. This will launch an object that Zoe can grapple with to cross the gap and join Mio. Head into the revolving door and continue walking to keep it spinning.
Entering the lobby, you will see a robot receptionist ahead with elevators behind her. Hit the receptionist a few times to have her retaliate. This will earn you the ‘Robot Revolution’ achievement. Board any elevator to conclude the mission and advance onto Flipped Cityscapes.
