Overview of Toxic Tumblers Mission in the Final Dawn Chapter of Split Fiction
For an easy understanding, we will further divide this sub-chapter into three parts:
- Crossing the toxic river
- Fighting the robots and tackling the shields
- Green dome room
Crossing the Toxic River
Use the hook to swing across the toxic river and land on the spinning machine parts. You have to cross these parts to reach a platform. It is not easy because you have to avoid the toxic fluid waterfall and the dangerous river flowing beneath. Additionally, these spinning machine parts move left and right, adding an extra challenge.
Once you reach the platform and climb the stairs, you will unlock a side story: Kites.
Fighting the Robots and Tackling the Shields
Head back to the stairs and shoot the two switches on your right to uncover a secret platform. Cross this platform, and you will spot two switches. Pressing these switches will trigger an alarm, and two huge robots will appear. Strategically create a hole in the floor to make them fall.
Use the switches to open the door. Once inside, use the side rails to navigate around the area. This can be a tough challenge as you have to shoot the shields according to your character’s color. Be careful—making a mistake will result in instant death upon contact with the shield.
Green Dome Room
After you reach the platform, head to the area on your left. Use your grapple hook to cross two consecutive walls, and you will be dropped into another area with several domes. You will quickly notice that these domes have shields of alternate colors. Traverse across these domes, avoiding the lasers, until you reach a square shield.
Next, the following shield will reveal a narrow platform. Walk on it to arrive at the platforms above. Cross these five platforms to reach a metal bridge. At the end of this bridge, you will find a lift. Interact with it, and a cutscene will trigger.
