In this guide, we’ll explore how you can find Kara in Stellar Blade. This is part of the Encounter side quest in the game.
Eve will meet many interesting characters during her journey in Stellar Blade. Some of them will have requests that she can complete to earn rewards. These side quests are often straightforward and a great way to get XP, Vitcoin, and other precious items. However, you won’t be able to access all side quests from the beginning. Some unlock only after you have progressed far enough in the main story.
For instance, the Encounter quest becomes available after you defeat the Tachy boss. In it, you will need to find an NPC named Kara, who’s the sister of Quest Giver. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can find Kara in Stellar Blade and complete the Encounter quest.
How To Start the Encounter Side Quest in Stellar Blade
The Encounter quest only becomes available after you defeat Tachy. You also must complete the Scavenger’s Story side mission before you can take up this quest. Once both of these are complete, you’ll need to speak with Kaya outside the Sister’s Junk shop at Xion.
She’ll ask you to look for her sister Kara and slay a Behemoth. Both are in the Great Desert area. Thankfully, after defeating Tachy, Adam will take you to the Great Desert region, so it works out perfectly.

How To Find Kara in Stellar Blade
After reaching the Great Desert, mark the Encounter quest active and follow the quest marker. You’ll need to head north. We suggest avoiding any fight with the other enemies that you come across. Soon, you’ll reach a rocky path that’ll take you to the Behemoth enemy. It’s a powerful foe that’ll probably take you down a few times before you can kill it.
You should counter the creature’s claw attacks but dodge out of the way when it leaps into the air or unleashes wind attacks. You should also use Eve’s Beta Attacks when the Behemoth gets stunned. After you’ve drained a significant portion of its health, the enemy will enter its second phase.
In this mode, it will unleash three Wind Attacks consecutively. Make sure you run and dodge out of the way of these. After wearing it down further, you can enter Tachy Mode to finish the fight. Just make sure not to take any damage while this mode is active.
After killing the Behemoth, you can interact with the dead body nearby to confirm that it’s Kara. Return to Kaya’s shop immediately after to relay the bad news about her sister’s demise. As the quest ends, you’ll unlock the Sky Ace outfit. Alongside that, you will also unlock the Sisterly Love achievement.
