Pets are one of the two categories of animals you can own in Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar. Compared to farm animals, pets do not produce any type of items to sell in the Bazaar. Pets act more as companions, following you and saving your time with simple manual tasks. With some extra training, they will become even more efficient, increasing their pace with tasks around the farm.

Pets in Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar
You will get access to your first pet during Summer 1. This takes place when Ramon gives you the quest ‘Choose between a cat or dog.’ Once you choose either, you can pick one out of three of them. This will then trigger a tutorial sequence on the steps for how to care for the pets.
From the next in-game Saturday onwards, you can visit Ramon’s critters stall whenever you like. At a time, you will only be allowed to own up to four pets. You will also receive a free horse during summer 14. This takes place when Ramon returns to help tutor you on how to care for and use horses for races.
Pets are handy when it comes to managing your farm animals and keeping them in check. Your cats and dogs save your work as they manage different categories of farm animals, following them as they graze in the fields.
