Super Robot Wars Y comes in three editions. Each one of these offers exclusive rewards and benefits. Here’s how to access these DLCs.
In addition to the base game, you must separately purchase two DLCs for Super Robot Wars 1. Players can also buy the Deluxe Edition to get the contents of these two DLCs and some exclusive rewards. However, how to access them might not be very straightforward. Here is how you can access the DLCs.
Unlocking DLC 1 and 2 in Super Robot Wars Y
Even though the DLCs will be unlocked as soon as you buy the game and then launch it, there are many DLC bonuses that you can access only after a certain point. Most of the DLC content will be available to access after completing the game’s prologue. On the other hand, there are some units that are included in these DLCs that you can only get after finishing the second mission in Super Robot Wars Y.
You can check out the entire list of quests here. Apart from this, there are many such quests in these two DLCs that can only be accessed via story progression. If a mission is linked with the second chapter, you will need to play till that point to start this quest. Aside from these quests, the Ultimate Edition includes a premium soundtrack and a digital art book as well.
The Deluxe Edition will automatically unlock the sound pack, adding the songs to your song list. To use the artbook, simply click on ‘Option’ from the game’s main menu and then select ‘Design Works.’
