Master Saros’ abilities in Supervive with this detailed guide covering Ionized effects, combos, and tactical gameplay tips.

Saros is a sniper with incredible range, exerting a wide threat radius around him on the battlefield. The hawkeyed hunter has fast attack and movement speed, which, combined with reality-bending ability combos, makes him an unpredictable and versatile damage dealer. This guide outlines his abilities and how they synergize to create a powerful fighter playstyle.
How Saros’ Abilities Work in Supervive
When Saros is Ionized, his movement speed and mana regeneration increase, while the Sunspear’s Rifle (LMB) and Charge Sunfire (RMB) gain a faster rate of fire. Hitting a target with the Nova Orb (Q) or entering the Eclipse Portal (R) gives Saros the Ionized condition.

Sunspear’s Rifle (LMB)
Tapping or holding down the left mouse button fires bolts of Sunfire over a long range. Hitting a target restores 30 Mana, and killing one restores 100 Mana. This ability is spammable and serves as Saros’ primary source of mana restoration.
Charge Sunfire (RMB)

Charge Sunfire is the only ability in Saros’ arsenal that costs mana. It has a negligible cooldown time and relies on Sunspear’s Rifle to replenish mana with continuous hits. Holding the right mouse button charges a powerful bolt of Sunfire while increasing Saros’ vision to cover the attack’s extremely long range.
The attack drains 100 Mana and can be used as a scouting tool due to its vision amplification quality. Hold RMB and conduct a full 360° scan of the area around you to gain potentially valuable scouting information. While holding RMB, press LMB to fire. The sniping attack is best used at long range. However, enemies can see your targeting laser, so it’s best to aim and shoot quickly. The attack deals bonus damage to targets with health below 33%.
Dive Slash (L Shift)
Pressing Left Shift activates Saros’ dash ability. He dives in the target direction, dealing damage to and pushing any enemies along the path. Press Left Shift again to lash out with the Sunspear and knock back any targets, dealing double damage and applying stun if they hit a wall.
Striking a target with the spear allows you to press Left Shift once more for a third Dive Slash attack. You can also use the ability to kick a Nova Orb (Q) to speed it up or change its direction. It is possible to use the dash combo to kite opponents by dashing back and using the second dash slash to knock a Nova Orb toward the approaching enemy.
Nova Orb (Q)

Pressing the “Q” key fires a slow-traveling Nova Orb that deals minor damage and slows enemies caught within its radius. You can shoot the orb to deal heavy splash damage to any enemies within range. Use Dive Slash to kick the orb toward opponents for maximum effect. The orb can also bounce off solid surfaces like walls for advanced trick shots. Nova Orb grows to its maximum size after a few seconds of traveling.
Eclipse Portal (R)

Saros’ ultimate ability fires a projectile that creates a portal upon hitting a wall. The portal opens on the other side of the wall and can be used by anyone to travel through. The Ionized passive activates upon entering the portal. You can recast the portal at another location while its duration is active.
The primary use of the portal is to repeatedly pass through it and gain the Ionized passive. You can also use it as an escape tool on any terrain behind you and shoot through the portal to hit any pursuing hunters.
