For weapons, we suggest picking one for close range and another for picking enemies off from a distance. For close range, we recommend using the Shadow Blade. This unique dagger comes with a trait that multiplies sneak damage by 2x, totaling your stealth damage by a whopping 4x.

For long range, we recommend using any of the high-damage bows. Ideally, you also want your bow to have unique traits, so something like a Frostbloom Bow would work perfectly fine. Pair the bow up with your highest damage arrows to make the most of the build.

Regardless of what weapon you use, we recommend stacking it up with the Starborn Egg Relic. Slot in two of these Relics for the two slots to see a 20 percent increase in damage dealt.

Best Armor, Totem, and Rings

For the armor set, we recommend using the following:

  • Helmet: Assassin’s Mask. This helmet increases sneak damage by 5 percent. Pair the mask with the Hunter’s Cape Totem, which reduces the chance of being detected by 10 percent.

  • Gloves: Assassin’s Gloves. These gloves increase sneak damage by 5 percent.

  • Chest: Assassin’s Tunic. This chest piece increases sneak damage by 10 percent. Pair this piece with the Colm’s Finger Necklace Totem, which increases crit chance by 5 percent.

  • Rings: The first ring is the Perfect Ring For A Juggler, which increases attack speed by 5 percent. For the second, we recommend the Marksman’s Treasure, which increases ranged critical chance by 25 percent.

  • Pants: Assassin’s Trousers. These trousers increase sneak damage by 5 percent. You’ll get these as a drop from the knights in the Abandoned Stronghold.

  • Boots: Assassin’s Boots. These boots increase sneak damage by 5 percent.

  • Relics: For armor relics, the first we recommend is Unfading Ember. This relic ignites enemies if they hit you. The second is the Eternal Guardian Seal. This relic increases your max health by +3.

The main stats that you need to invest in the most are Dexterity and Perception. Dexterity directly ties into the noise you make and is a crucial stealth stat. For each point you invest in Dexterity, you reduce noise and visibility by 3 percent. We recommend taking this stat up all the way to 20.

Perception is the second main stat you need to invest in. This stat determines your critical damage, critical chance, and sneak damage. The higher your Perception, the higher your chance of one-shotting enemies in stealth. We recommend taking this stat up all the way to 10 at the least.

Skills You Should Use

As far as the skills are concerned, we recommend getting the following:

  • Strong Arm of the Bowmaster (Dexterity/Bows): Stamina cost of holding a drawn bow is cut by 90 percent.
  • Proper Bow Technique (Dexterity/Bows): Drawing a bow costs 25 percent less stamina.
  • Deadly Aim (Dexterity/Bows): Increase weakspot damage by 85 percent.
  • Marksman (Dexterity/Bows): The further away from the enemy you are, the greater the damage you deal.
  • Increased Vitality (Endurance/General): Increases max health by 10 percent.
  • Agility (Dexterity/Movement): Dash costs 60 percent less stamina.
  • Quickened Strike (Dexterity/Attack Speed): Increase Attack Speed by 8 percent.
  • Silent Hunter (Perception/Stealth): Decrease noise by 60 percent.
  • Assassin’s Doctrine (Perception/Stealth): Increase sneak damage by 85 percent.
  • Extra Lucky (Perception/General): Increases critical chance by 6 percent.
  • Go For The Eyes (Perception/General): Increases critical damage by 10 percent.
