How To Complete the Brotherly Love Side Quest in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon

Collect the Belt Buckle From the Nuckelavee at Haunted Well

To start the quest, you need to acquire a Belt Buckle from the Haunted Well, which is located at the center of Cuanacht. Enter the Haunted Well, proceed along the path, and drop down. You will encounter a Nuckelavee there. Defeat the creature and loot its corpse to find the Ornate Belt Buckle. Collect the Ornate Belt Buckle to trigger the Brotherly Love quest.

Speak With Rob

After finding the Belt Buckle from the wyrdbeast, you need to gain more information about the object from the surrounding people. This eventually leads you to Rob and Gil’s Cottage at the Farmlands. It can be easily identified by the horses tied to the stables in the front yard.

Enter the cottage and interact with Rob to learn about his past and his grandfather. Eventually, Rob reveals something about his grandfather’s Belt Buckle. Show the Belt Buckle you found in the well to Rob. This raises some strange confusion about Gil, who earlier made odd remarks about their grandfather.

Pass the Time and Talk To Rob Again

Rob mentions he needs time to speak with Gil about their grandfather. So, you need to interact with Rob again after some time to learn more details. To give the required time, rest at the bonfire, and to pass the time. After the time skip, speak to Rob again to learn that Gil actually killed their grandfather to protect Rob from him. He has been carrying the guilt ever since. The quest completes once the conversation ends and rewards you with Hard Back, which increases the Encumbrance Limit by 45.
