In Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon, you can unlock a bunch of trophies or achievements. Some of these are quite easy to unlock, while others are somewhat trickier. For Academic Purposes is one of the most challenging trophies to unlock in the game, primarily because the game doesn’t provide you any clues as to how to proceed. You simply have to find a bunch of books about a character named Liliana.

With such a vast world and so many different regions to explore, tracking down the books can be extremely challenging if you don’t already know where to look. So, in this guide, we’ll help you acquire all of the books necessary to get the For Academic Purposes trophy in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon.

How To Unlock the For Academic Purposes Trophy in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon

The first thing you’ll need to understand is there are seven Liliana books that you’ll need to acquire and read. Some of the books are scattered across various spots in the first region of the game, Horns of the South.

However, we suggest saving yourself the trouble and simply progressing the story far enough to access the second region, known as Cuanacht. Once you’re there, you will have to head to the main city. Explore the city until you discover a shop named Vrell’s Bookstore. This is where you’ll get all seven books that you need to collect.

Speak to Vrell inside the shop until she agrees to sell her books to you. You can purchase five of the Liliana books from her. The ones available for purchase include:

• Beautiful Liliana In The Dal Riata Captivity
• Beautiful Liliana In The Chamber Of Ecstasy
• Beautiful Liliana And The Forbidden Pleasure
• Beautiful Liliana And The Forbidden Pleasure, Volume II
• Beautiful Liliana And The Lustful Marquise

The last two books are not available for sale. However, they are on the shelf by the entrance. You’ll need to steal them to complete the collection. These books are – Beautiful Liliana In The Dungeons Of Perversion and Beautiful Liliana And The Lustful Marquise, Volume II.

If you’re short on funds, you can also steal the rest of the five books from this shelf too. However, make sure you wait for nightfall to steal them without getting detected. Open each book once after getting them to unlock the ‘For Academic Purposes’ trophy.
