Players in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will have to fix the Gong during one of the primary quests. Here’s a helpful guide.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon players will eventually arrive at a point in the game where they are expected to repair the Gong. This happens during the Shadows of the Horns quest. Everybody will eventually have to play through this quest because it’s a primary quest, not an optional one. Just like many other quests in the game, there is no in-game guide to help you except for some quest markers.
By the end of the Shadows of the Horns mission, you can decide whether you want to help Breandan or Galahad. It doesn’t matter who you side with, though, because you will ultimately have to reach the Sunken Village for a ritual. This ritual is incomplete without the gong, which is unfortunately broken at the moment.
Fixing the Gong in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon

The first quest marker will lead you to the Sunken Village, as mentioned before. If you are already in Horns Keep, you need to travel north from here. The objective marker takes you to a gateway atop a giant rock past the shore. You will have no problems swimming to the gateway. Once there, pick up the broken gong lying on the ground. Keep your eyes peeled because it’s easy to overlook.
Now, you will return to the blacksmith to fix the gong. However, he will give you a list of materials he needs. Bring him 15 Ethereal Cobwebs. They are easily obtained by killing Wyrd monsters at night. You can also use these cobwebs for your Wyrd Soul Power. If night hasn’t fallen already, you can find or build a campfire and wait until 22:00 in-game. Sunken Village isn’t a bad place for hunting down Wyrd phantoms for obtaining Ethereal Cobwebs.
Now, head back to the blacksmith with 15 Ethereal Cobwebs in your inventory, and he will fix the gong for you. Now, all you need to do is return to the gateway we mentioned earlier, place the gong, and interact with it.
