The offensive spells allow you to deal damage to enemies, while the defensive spells allow you to heal and protect yourself. The Life Transfusion spell is one of the rare spells that does both.
The Life Transfusion spell is a spell that comes with two casting variations. The light casting variation allows you to shoot projectiles that inflict Bleed. The heavy casting allows you to drain the enemy’s HP to heal yourself. It is this heavy casting that makes the spell a total game-changer. The ability to heal yourself AND kill the enemy at the same time is busted.

To find the Life Transfusion spell in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon, you need to make your way to the Blood Lake. The Blood Lake is towards the southeastern end of the Horns of the South, marked unmistakably in red.
Head over to the lake and you will be greeted by a statue poking out of the blood red water. If you missed out on the Blood Transfusion spell earlier on, you can talk to the statue and pray before it to obtain the spell. If you have the spell already, ignore the statue and head underwater.
Swim through the blood red water and past the statue. You will come across a set of stairs, which will then lead you to the Blood Cave. Head inside the cave, and follow the linear path. Beat the boss towards the end of this cave, and enter the large chamber after it. You’ll see a small gate lit by a torch. Pass through the gate to find spiral stairs. Head up the stairs to find a chest with the Life Transfusion spell.
