In this guide, we shall go over how to repair the deck in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon, a side quest in the game.
The world of Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon is rapidly decaying. The repeated attempts at resurrecting King Arthur have brought society to the brink of collapse, and all its inhabitants are now worse off for it. Most of the NPCs you meet are upset over something or another, but the most peculiar case is Tiernan.
Tiernan is the keeper of a village in the Horns of the South. As you approach the village, the grumpy keeper will stop you at the entrance, his face betraying his exhaustion. The keeper will ask you not to cause any trouble. If you ask him if he needs help with anything, he will also mention a deck. This will start the Repairing the Deck quest in the game. As you explore the village, you’ll stumble upon the broken deck, now lying seemingly unsalvageable.
Approach the deck, and the game will prompt you to repair it. While the task may seem complicated, it is fairly simple and only requires you to obtain wood. In this guide, we will go over how to repair the deck in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon.

How To Repair the Deck in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon
As stated earlier, approaching the deck will give you the prompt to repair it. To do so, you will require 50x Wood. Finding wood may seem like an impossible task, but it is fairly simple if you know where to look. Head over to the main castle area in the game, and you will find a Lumbering Spot to the side.
Approach the spot, and the game will prompt you to chop wood. You’ll need an axe to do so. If you don’t have one already, you can buy one from Orlaith by the main entrance. Enter the castle from the east gate and look to your right just after crossing the portcullis to find Orlaith. You can also acquire an axe by simply exploring the map.

Once you have the axe, head back to the Lumbering Spot and begin chopping. The wood is limited, and you won’t get 50 in one go. Chop as much as you can, then rest to respawn the wood. Take the wood back to the deck and press the button prompt to repair it.
