How To Complete The Warmest Coat Side Quest in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon

Talk to Keeper Dan

The quest takes place in the fortress at the Horns of the South. You can initiate the quest by talking to Keeper Dan, who usually keeps watch at the top of the fortress. He will mention that he is freezing during his watch due to the cold wind, despite the great view. He also adds that Osbryht, the blacksmith, might have a solution. 

Get the Recipe From Osbryht

Head down and interact with Osbryht at the fortress. When you ask him for a Warm Coat, he immediately knows it is for Dan. Although they had some disagreement in the past, Osbryht forgives him and agrees to help Dan. However, he doesn’t give you the Warm Coat itself. Instead, he provides the recipe to make it yourself. This unlocks a new recipe for Warm Coat, which grants additional Optimal Dash. 

Craft a Warm Coat and Give It to Keeper Dan

Once you get the recipe from Osbryht, interact with the Grindstone near him. Head to the Handicrafting section to craft a Warm Coat for Dan. However, you need 2x Leather and 2x Wolf Pelt to make the coat. While you can purchase the Leather from Osbryht, killing the wolves drops Wolf Pelt. Once you have the required materials, craft the Warm Coat and give it to Keeper Dan. He shows gratitude and offers you a hint about an interesting area near the shore, which concludes The Warmest Coat quest.
