Aside from the main storyline, Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon offers an expansive world filled with numerous optional content. You will encounter over 250 NPCs and 200+ side quests while exploring Avalon. Unforgettable is one of the side quests and is likely the first one you will encounter in the game.
While it may be an early side quest, you cannot complete it right away at the beginning. Instead, you need to progress further into the game until you gain access to Cuanacht Village, the game’s second major area. The quest requires you to report the death of a woman to her husband and rewards a piece of valuable equipment upon completion. Pick Up the Letters at the Island Asylum
The Unforgettable quest can be initiated right after you break out of the jail in Island Asylum. Once you escape the cell, head to your right and follow the pathway. Pick up the Guard’s Key from the Red Priest’s corpse. Then take the path to the left of the starting cell, where you will find a locked cell at the end of the corridor. Use the Guard’s Key to open the cell, and you will find an Old Letter in the chest.
Reading the letter starts the Unforgettable quest in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon, which involves delivering the news about the deaths of Katrin and her son to her husband.
Continue along the path on the right side, and you will encounter an enemy. Defeat the enemy and proceed until you find a cell with a woman and child skeleton inside. Open the cell and pick up Father Vaughan’s Notes on the table.
Complete the Change of Heart Quest
Once you reach Horns of the South, talk to Brother Riagan and show him the letters to learn about Katrin’s husband, who resides in Cuanacht Village. Once you gain access to Cuanacht Village, talk with Denholm. He tasks you with finding out what’s happening with the blacksmith Erfyr. Find blacksmith Erfyr to learn about his friend Beor’s illness. Complete the Change of Heart quest by defeating the Fae at the Lovers’ Hollow cave to cure Beor. Collect Beor’s Heart from Fae and return to Erfyr.
Retrun the Letter to Erfyr
Once Beor is cured, you are now free to talk with Erfyr, who is the husband of Katrin Guiscard. Interact with Erfyr to learn about his wife and son. Report the deaths of Katrin and his son and hand over the letters to Erfyr. Following an emotional conversation, Erfyr rewards you with the Health Ring, which increases maximum health by 20. This concludes the Unforgettable side quest.
