You can plant seeds in Tales of the Shire by following the steps below: 

  • Head back to your house after purchasing the seeds. If you don’t know where to get those, you can head over to the market and purchase them from Farmer Cotton.
  • Enter the house and enter Decoration mode. This is an edit mode where you can tinker around with objects in the house. 
  • Select the Storage and click on the Garden tab. 
  • Then, select the seed you wish to use and place them one by one in the garden. 
  • Once you’ve placed all the seeds, you can then exit the mode and watch them grow over the next three days.
